As a Prime Video technologist, you’ll have end-to-end ownership of the product, user experience, design, and technology required to deliver state-of-the-art experiences for our customers. We are looking for a Principal Product Manager-T to lead the development and scaling of science-based solutions to derive elements such as ratings, content descriptions, policy elements that power key customer viewing and advertiser brand relevance decisions.

In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate with Business, Applied Science, Engineering, Operations as well as other Product Managers to bring products to market and enhance our service capabilities. A successful candidate will be able to articulate and drive a strategic vision, working cross-functionally across key stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that work well with a range of complex systems. You will be responsible for leading your team to launch and scale new and existing features that are relied on by customers, partners and internal operations teams to publish more great digital video content to Amazon.

The PM-T serves as the lead throughout the entire development lifecycle, and have strong written and verbal communications skills. Prior experience in shipping AI products, business judgement, and ability to manage and influence cross-functionally are key.

Key job responsibilities

- Define and drive the product vision and roadmap for science-based products and cross-functional AI/ML initiatives for the digital supply chain

- Evangelize model-driven decision-making across partner teams; help establish adoption mechanisms

- Collaborate with applied/data science teams to translate business problems into model requirements, ensuring technical feasibility and alignment with product goals

- Work closely with science, engineering, operations, and business stakeholders to prioritize features and experiments

- Own the full product lifecycle: from data acquisition, model development, experimentation, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring

Partner and Content Foundations builds and manages the end-to-end digital video supply chain that powers Prime Video. Our mission is to create the industry's most efficient, flexible, innovative, and highly performant digital content supply chain. We develop software and data solutions that enable partners to manage content and grow their business on Prime Video. Our services analyze, package, prepare, audit, and augment video content for worldwide consumption. We also provide distribution APIs and interfaces that power Prime Video's client applications and partner data feeds, ensuring seamless content delivery across all platforms.



Qualifications

- 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience

- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

- Experience technical product management



Extended Qualifications

- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
