A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. As part of our growing US SMB Marketing team, we are looking for a Sr. Partnership Mktg Lead who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed on Amazon. In this role, you will develop the business, marketing and content strategy of connecting SMBs with our preferred partners (such as tool providers and independent agencies). You will collaborate with Stores and Ads organization to create a successful lead generation strategy. You will be responsible for gathering customer feedback, data analysis, measurement, and reporting. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator and collaborator who can earn trust with key leaders and stakeholders across multiple teams. You are results-oriented and have a relentless focus on using customer data and insights to deliver bar-raising experiences.

Key job responsibilities

- Research: Perform data analysis and customer research to uncover partner adoption opportunities

- Strategy development: formulate marketing and sales strategies and roadmaps aligned with areas of opportunities; align your vision with leaders and partners

- Implementation: Develop marketing content, lead sales enablement and trainings, build SOPs, and partner with relevant stakeholders to implement

- Reporting: identify success metrics, measure impact, gather feedback, and leverage insights to improve go-forward strategies

About the team

The SMB Marketing team serves sales-unmanaged active advertisers with the mission to grow Amazon Ads awareness and consideration among small and medium-sized businesses and drive demand for the self service channel.



Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree

- 8-10 years of experience within business, marketing, sales or related field



Extended Qualifications

- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions

- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

- Strong strategic, analytical, and communication skills; ability to translate complex strategies into actionable initiatives. Experience with partners/agencies is a plus

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
