Description

Amazon’s Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

Amazon Kuiper’s’ commercial services team is looking for an experienced, self-starter sales professional to drive adoption of Kuiper broadband services and solutions with commercial partners. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the definition and execution of the Amazon Kuiper Business Development pipeline in LatAm.

Preferred hiring locations: Seattle, WA; Washington DC

Key job responsibilities

• Contribute to the build out of Amazon Kuiper service revenue with specific focus on commercial partner channels in North America.

• Define and drive go-to market (GTM) strategy for North America

• Be customer obsessed. Think on behalf of the customer and work to meet the customer’s stated and unstated needs and aspirations

• Execute strategic and tactical business development initiatives while working with key internal stakeholders (e.g., Amazon Kuiper product, marketing, engineering and legal teams) and BD team colleagues.

• Be the internal coordinator supporting complex contract negotiations and complex business requirements and activities which deliver results.

• Adept at thinking strategically and analytically about business priorities, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to deliver target-based results working cross-organizationally.

• Excellent written and verbal communications including a passion for writing detailed strategic documents.

• Consistently exceeds key performance metrics and delivers results.

Qualifications

Managed large scale partners with revenue goals

Experience in developing, negotiating and executing business agreements for partner channels

Bachelor's degree

Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level



Extended Qualifications

Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner

Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations

Fluent English, Portuguese, Spanish

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. This position is eligible for variable pay via a sales compensation plan. These plans pay according to achievement level against sales targets and/or business objectives. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
