SMGS - AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

AWS is seeking a skilled Multi-Party Partner Development Specialist to join our dynamic team driving strategic partnerships between Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), Consulting Partners (CPs), and other key players in the AWS ecosystem. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying complementary capabilities, facilitating collaborative solution development, and delivering innovative offerings that address our customers' most pressing needs.

As the Multi-Party Partner Development Specialist, you will leverage your deep expertise in the AWS partner landscape to foster productive collaborations and drive real business impact. Working closely with the Senior Manager of the Multi-Party Partner Development team, you will be a key contributor in shaping the strategic vision and execution plan for multi-party partnerships.

Key job responsibilities

- Engage directly with customers to thoroughly understand their challenges and requirements, translating those insights into partner solutions

- Proactively identify opportunities for ISVs, CPs, and other partners to come together and develop differentiated offerings

- Facilitate ideation sessions, design workshops, and joint planning with diverse partner teams to bring innovative solutions to life

- Provide technical guidance and support to help partners integrate their capabilities and create seamless customer experiences

- Develop go-to-market strategies and joint business plans to drive adoption and success of multi-party partnership offerings

- Collaborate cross-functionally with AWS product, sales, and solutions teams to ensure partner solutions are effectively brought to market

- Contribute to the prioritization of AWS investments in multi-party partnerships, based on customer needs and business impact

- Support the delivery of programs and initiatives that will scale the multi-party partner business

- Assist in preparing comprehensive business reviews and updates for AWS leadership

Qualifications

- 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience

- 5+ years of professional or military experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level

- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules



Extended Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience working within the AWS partner ecosystem, with a track record of driving successful multi-party collaborations

- Deep understanding of the AWS services, technologies, and partner programs, and how to leverage them to solve customer problems

- Experience in solution selling, new business model development, and demonstrating prior solution and program successes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
