The Amazon Business Marketing team is seeking an experienced Paid Search Marketing Manager to join our global Paid Search team. As a Paid Search Marketing Manager for Amazon Business, you will create world class marketing strategies to support our mission to grow Amazon Business globally. You will define, plan, execute, and measure Paid Search (SEM) campaigns that drive customer growth. You will partner with our international marketing teams to support launches of promotions and services. The impact of this role is significant and broad, accounting for a large percentage of our KPIs.

A successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, team oriented, a great communicator, and will have an ability to work independently under time constraints to meet deadlines. You will have a proven track record taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment. This role will be that of a builder (leading expansion into South/Central America markets) and refiner (enhancing performance across Spanish and English language campaigns).

The Paid Search Manager should be comfortable in both an ambiguous, self-sufficient role, as well as one of team support and interaction. Ownership of work is extremely important, and candidates should have a proven record of overseeing projects to their completion. The ideal candidate is motivated with strong time management and project management skills, and is technical and analytical. This opportunity requires excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills. At the core of the position is thinking big about new opportunities, high attention to detail and delivering high quality results on time.

Key job responsibilities

Paid Search Manager Duties & Responsibilities will include:

· Lead execution and consistent performance of the Paid Search strategy across AB multi-market, multi-goal campaigns

· Build & refine Spanish language campaigns

· Derive insights from data, synthesize, and implement tactical improvements to campaign performance

· Challenge current setup/approach, identifying new opportunities for architecture, ad types, bidding, copy, and landing experience. Implement tests to prove enhancement through new approaches.

· Act as liaison to external and internal partners and effectively collaborate with them to support successful launches

· Write effectively to report on progress against goals and progress/outcomes of tests

· Effectively prioritize workload, ensuring consistent progress on implementing and executing tests, achieving goals, and completing deliverables

A day in the life

Starting your day, you’ll analyze granular performance detail to identify microtrends and optimize against them to ensure weekly goals are met; hitting goals while ensuring pacing is on track. You then write about the week’s performance and provide data-led information supporting trend shifts. Diving into partner campaigns, you send a performance update to internal partners and lead a live Q&A so they feel confident presenting to their leadership. Upon leading a vendor call you will identify a testing opportunity and will construct a test proposal. In getting alignment, you will implement the test and create a document for tracking progress.

Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns

- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

- BA or equivalent



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in multi-territory campaign management

- Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process

- Experience running an SEM program: strong knowledge of bidding strategies, best practices, budget management, executing experiments, and Google Ads

- Fluent Spanish language skills (written and verbal)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
