Description
Amazon Manufacturing Services (AMS) is an ISO 9001 certified internal manufacturing organization that provides Amazon teams with reliable, cost-effective production of custom parts, prototypes, and design engineering services. AMS offers additive manufacturing (3D printing), subtractive manufacturing (CNC machining, waterjet cutting, sheet metal), and turnkey design engineering solutions to support Amazon's product development from early concept through rapid prototyping stages.We are seeking an experienced Operations Program Manager to join our manufacturing team and drive operational excellence for internal customers. You will support programs to optimize production efficiency and quality across manufacturing areas and contribute to cross-functional projects in a fast-paced environment.

You will have the opportunity to contribute to new programs and support the scaling of existing programs/initiatives.
Key job responsibilities
• Support cross-functional manufacturing initiatives, including launches of new production cells (e.g., high-speed sheet metal, powder coat & welding, assembly work cell, injection molding), working closely with engineering and area managers.
• Contribute to manufacturing programs from planning through steady-state operations, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve production bottlenecks and support continuous improvement across manufacturing workstreams.
• Develop and maintain program schedules, milestones, and deliverables; track scope, cost, timeline, and risk with regular status updates.
• Collaborate on manufacturing plans aligned with facility capacity, labor resources, equipment availability, and readiness for audits and certifications.
• Support on-time, on-budget, and delivery of manufacturing initiatives, escalating blockers with data-backed recommendations.
• Contribute to operational readiness planning and rollouts of new equipment, processes, and production features to ensure stable performance.
• Facilitate communication between Customer Success and Operations so customer insights inform prioritization and program direction.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of program or project management experience- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
Extended Qualifications
- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
