Prime Video is seeking a talented Senior Media Manager to lead US media investment and negotiation strategies across a robust mix of channels. A successful candidate will be a blend of media strategist, project manager, and analyst. They are comfortable working autonomously, yet effective at partnering cross-functionally with internal and external stakeholders, including media, corporate business development, media companies, and outside agencies. They are passionate and knowledgeable about the entertainment industry with superior written and verbal communication skills. Success is dependent on the candidate’s ability to be curious and nimble, proactively looking around corners to identify ways to unlock investment opportunities that further business interests.

Key job responsibilities

- Secure investment deals/endeavors with media partners in collaboration with the media agency

- Act as a strategic partner to the media planning team, identifying priority media partners, aligning on the strategic use case, and establishing the negotiation priorities/strategies to drive outcomes

- Serve as a thought-leader, seeking and evaluating new and innovative media platforms to reach customers

- Evaluate channel performance to inform media mix optimizations and determine go-to-market investment/endeavor levels

- Own media partner relationships, setting best practices and building test and learn agendas

- Collaborate cross functionally with corporate business development, ad sales, and other Amazon lines of business to unlock partner opportunities that benefit collective interests

- Execute deals in partnership with the media team to ensure requirements are met



Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience planning and executing media strategies across a robust mix of channels including, but not limited to, television, print, digital, cinema, mobile and out-of-home

- Experience influencing key stakeholders to drive key business KPIs



Extended Qualifications

- 8+ years of experience planning and executing media strategies across a robust mix of channels including, but not limited to, television, print, digital, cinema, mobile and out-of-home

- Experience leading the development of investment strategies with media partners (e.g. TV Upfront)

- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong decision-making skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
