Description
Do you want to help millions of people across the world build their AWS cloud skills? Do you have a knack for understanding the unique learning needs of Partners? Amazon Web Services is looking for an experienced, customer obsessed Marketing Manager, Partner Content to join our team and help support our Free Training marketing team, reaching millions of builders, developers, and cloud-learners all over the world. In this role, you will be part of the AWS Growth Marketing team, supporting Engagement Programs.As a Marketing Manager, you will contribute to Partner-specific marketing strategy for the free training program and help manage the operations of our livestream channel, AWS Training Live. To thrive in this role, you should be highly organized, love developing efficient mechanisms, and get genuinely excited by thinking about optimizing the customer journey. You will work cross functionally with Amazonians from across the business, including partner marketing, product marketing, campaign marketing, product management, developer experience, and many more.
Key job responsibilities
You will help find new ways to reach customers with our free, livestreamed training, contribute to the development of our content strategy, and ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly. You will inspect and seek to optimize the marketing mechanisms we use and you’ll contribute to the growth and development of the program, including working with Amazonians across the business on the creation of new and existing content types. In this role, you will:
* Contribute to strategic plans for marketing program growth, including development of new content types, improvements to customer journey, and customer engagement strategies.
* Develop our video-on-demand marketing strategy, working through owned channels to drive improved outcomes for core content
* Analyze content performance and surface insights to stakeholders by creating series retrospectives, proactively analyzing content, and diving deep into metrics
* Manage marketing mechanisms for impact measurement
* Ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly, monitoring channel health, maintenance, and security by ensuring the right individuals have access to program tools, systems, and platforms, monitoring calendar, and ensuring we adhere to marketing best practices for link tracking and content placement
* Establish and manage mechanism for series intake, helping to select topics that align to marketing strategy

Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Demonstrated passion to continually learn and expand hands-on skills
- Highly collaborative and experienced working cross-functionally or with multiple stakeholders
Extended Qualifications
- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs- Direct to consumer/individual focused marketing experience, preferably for campaigns or programs aimed at developers, or for high-tech products/services
- Experience consuming or managing livestream programming on social channels (eg, YouTube, Twitch, etc.)
- Experience with a variety of marketing content mediums, such as blogs, email, web, live stream, video, podcast, social media, etc.
- Experienced in managing and prioritizing multiple projects and with great attention to detail

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
