A strategically important part of our charter is to drive adoption across a portfolio of self-service, cost per click advertising products to enable head to tail advertisers to engage with customers in relevant ways. As part of our growing SMB Marketing team, we are looking for a Marketing Manager who is passionate about helping small businesses succeed off Amazon. In this role, you will drive the comprehensive marketing strategy that includes identifying the problem, core objectives and goals, overview of demand initiatives and priorities, and cross-team opportunities needed to reach our goal for the product(s) and features they oversee. You need to identify target customers or opportunity segments, consult with Product Marketing Managers to determine product value propositions and develop compelling messages reflecting those value propositions, and provide direct input to marketing communications. You will also create case studies to highlight the journey small businesses go through to scale their businesses. You will partner closely with internal teams to perform business analysis related to forecasting, reporting needs, and business trends and performance to drive business success.

To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator and collaborator who can earn trust with key leaders and stakeholders across multiple teams. You are results-oriented and have a relentless focus on using customer data and insights to deliver bar-raising experiences.

Key job responsibilities

Identify business problem/opportunity to inform business strategy

Create case studies and build creative content for go to market plans

Responsible for execution and implementation of marketing strategies that support the SMB marketing work.

Connect the dots between business goals, customer insights, marketing strategies, and creative development

Conduct, analyze, and synthesis customer and market research to inform brand and marketing outputs

Identify novel customer insights and brand opportunities to drive consistent, high-bar creative which positively shift perceptions and grows our business

Manage multiple priorities and make things happen in a fast-paced, dynamic, culture.

Collaborate and build relationships with marketing stakeholders across Amazon Ads

Contribute to a diverse and inclusive creative culture that enables world-class creative development

Present solutions and gracefully defend decisions to executive management

Responsible for the development of annual strategic planning such as OP1, OP2 and brand GTM plans



Qualifications

- A bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field

- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in marketing

- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication abilities are essential for conveying marketing messages and collaborating with teams.

- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze market trends, customer insights, and campaign performance metrics to make data-driven decisions.

- Creativity: Strong creative thinking skills for developing innovative marketing strategies and campaigns.

- Budget Management: Proficiency in managing budgets and allocating resources effectively.

- Familiarity with Marketing Channels: Understanding of both traditional and digital marketing channels, including social media, email marketing, and content marketing.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $108,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
