Description

Amazon's Career Choice program is one of the company's most visible investments in employee upskilling- prepaying tuition, offering upskilling and creating career pathways for hundreds of thousands of associates across 16 countries. We are looking for a Sr. Marketing Manager to serve as the single-threaded owner of all Career Choice content, communications, and global marketing campaigns. This role reports to the Director of Career Choice in Seattle, WA.

As a single threaded owner, you will own the global Career Choice narrative and messaging strategy end-to-end. That means building and maintaining messaging pillars, creating and distributing success stories across internal and external channels (OIC, News in 90, A to Z TV, aboutamazon.com, PR), and leading marketing campaigns for program enhancements, new country launches, and employer partnerships. You will set content guardrails, manage approval workflows, and coordinate with PR, Policy, AXU, and country teams to ensure consistent, high-quality storytelling worldwide. You will also develop marketing materials for external employer partners and produce job transition success stories that connect Career Choice graduates with real career outcomes.

This role operates at the center of a complex stakeholder map - partnering with PR on media strategy, briefing internal channels on stories, aligning with AXU on how Career Choice ladders into the Grow Pillar narrative, and syncing with the Program Team to prevent campaign overlap. You will drive external visibility across media, social, events, education partners, employer partners, and Amazon corporate channels. The right candidate is a strategic storyteller who can operate at the 30,000-foot narrative level and the ground-level content calendar in the same week. You thrive in a matrixed environment, bring a track record of driving measurable external visibility for a workforce or education program, and know how to move fast while keeping messaging tight.
