Description

Are you a tech-savvy storyteller who can translate how Amazon builds on AWS into compelling narratives that inspire customers? We're seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead technical storytelling for Amazon on AWS—the program that showcases how Amazon's own businesses architect, scale, and innovate using AWS services.

Amazon is one of the world's most complex AWS customers, running everything from supply chain optimization and robotics to generative AI and media streaming on AWS. This creates a unique content opportunity: real-world proof points, at massive scale, that no other company can tell. In this role, you'll work directly with Amazon engineering and business leaders to uncover these stories and translate them into technical content that educates and inspires external audiences—developers, architects, and technology executives alike.

The Amazon on AWS (AoA) Marketing is seeking an experienced marketer to showcase how Amazon uses AWS cloud and AI. This role highlights how AWS services meet the demanding requirements of Amazon businesses, including supply chain, fulfillment, robotics, delivery, and more. This role blends technical innovation with storytelling to turn AWS implementations into inspiring customer examples.

This individual will build relationships across Amazon businesses to discover and curate leading innovations built with AWS. The ideal candidate excels at earning trust, diving deep, and developing messaging and inspiring narratives for AWS customers. They should think like a journalist but execute with a customer-centric mindset, ensuring Amazon businesses remain the hero. The candidate should also thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and can balance strategic thinking with tactical execution.
