Description

Do you enjoy developing actionable customer insights that support critical business decisions?US Prime is seeking an experienced product marketing manager to develop and drive go-to-market (GTM) plans that will expand the size and engagement of the US Prime membership base.
As the Sr. Product Marketing Manager for US Prime you will lead a team of product marketing managers to develop GTM plans that drive the marketing of Prime across channels. You will work with Consumer Insights and Research organization to develop insights on the needs and barriers of current and future Prime members. You will work with the US Prime business performance and product marketing teams to understand the state of the US Prime business, opportunities for growth, and forward-looking product roadmaps. You will translate these inputs into forward-looking marketing plans and experimentation roadmaps including objectives, target customer segments, messaging hierarchy, and channel/creative briefs that will guide marketing leaders in upper-funnel, middle-funnel and lower funnel channels. You will set-up mechanisms to drive performance and track execution of these plans across channel owners. You will work with marketing analytics and product leaders to develop cross-channel dashboards that track performance and efficiency of our marketing investments in the program across channels. You will identify winning messages, campaigns and experiments and seek to rapidly scale them across other channels and opportunities.
This role will have regular interaction with senior leadership in WW Prime Product Management, North American Stores Marketing & Creative, Global Cross-Category and Cross-Channel Marketing, and Corporate Business Development. This role requires extensive marketing and go-to-market experience, the ability and the passion to deep dive and develop consumer insights that can inform the development of clear and compelling marketing plans, the ability to think big and look around corners for new marketing strategies and tactics that can step-change growth, and the ability to clearly communicate and drive performance with a broad range of stakeholders. This role requires a self-starter with the ability to support and drive decision making in a rapidly evolving environment, and the ability to manage multiple projects across several stakeholders effectively. The ideal candidate will be passionate about your work and see the strategic big-picture, yet be detail-oriented and be organized.
Key job responsibilities
• Develop and drive the overall go-to-market plan and experimentation roadmap for US Prime.
• Partner with internal and external consumer insights and research organizations to develop insights on Prime members and non-Prime customers that will inform the development of marketing plans and campaigns.
• Collaborate with product management leaders to inform and understand business performance, product roadmaps, and partnership development plans, and prioritize the key launches and messages to feature in our marketing plans.
• Develop briefs for marketing channel partners that will execute on behalf of US Prime across the organization.
• Partner with product and analytic leaders to develop metrics, dashboards and mechanisms to track and optimize the performance of marketing plans across channels.
A day in the life
On average day, you will:
• Develop, refine and manage the go-to-market plan and marketing experimentation roadmap for US Prime.
• Meet with internal and external consumer insights to deepen our understanding of Prime and non-Prime partners.
• Lead mechanisms that drive and track the performance in the marketing of US Prime across channels. Meet with product managers and business development leaders to understand the roadmaps and features of product and partnership launches
• Analyze the performance of in-flight marketing initiatives, develop learnings, optimize under-performing campaigns and scale winning campaigns across channels.
About the team
This role will sit on the leadership team of US Prime, and report to the Director of US Prime. The US Prime team is responsible for driving growth in the size and engagement of the Prime membership base in the US. As Prime membership is driven by organization across Amazon, the team is responsible for working across stakeholders to ensure we are working against a common strategy that will maximize Prime outcomes. Your peers on the leadership team will be the leaders of US Prime Business Performance and Analytics, US Prime Product Development, US Prime Consumer Insights, US Prime Partnership and Benefit Develop, and US Prime Content Testing. Your key partners outside of US Prime will be North America Stores Marketing and Creative, WW Prime Product Development, and WW Cross-Category and Cross-Channel Marketing.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $168,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $278,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
