We are dedicated to delivering solutions that delight shoppers while enabling businesses to not only sell their products on Amazon, but help advertisers drive long-term business growth.We are seeking an experienced and talented Sr. Marketing Manager to lead our education content strategy and delivery. This crucial role involves developing and executing a comprehensive content strategy that enhances engagement and drives successful outcomes for advertisers across Amazon Ads. You will own the evergreen content strategy and partner with lifecycle marketers to identify key customer moments that require education content. Working backwards from the customer, you will create scalable, on-demand education experiences that cater to advertisers of varying expertise and tenure. To be successful in this role, you must develop a deep understanding of our core audience and customer journey to comprehend the needs, challenges, and behaviors of our advertiser audience. You will establish content frameworks, templates, and learning assets to ensure consistency and efficiency across markets. You will use engagement data, advertiser feedback, and journey performance metrics to iterate on content strategy and improve effectiveness. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and channel owners will ensure the content strategy and plan aligns with broader marketing and business objectives - as you will lead the annual content calendar, messaging, creation, and execution plan.

Strong communication skills are crucial to earn the trust of key stakeholders across multiple teams. You should be comfortable working autonomously and managing multiple initiatives simultaneously. Balancing creativity with a data-driven approach is essential.
Key job responsibilities
- Own and execute the evergreen content strategy plan
- Manage the end-to-end content marketing plan, including annual calendar, messaging, creation, and tactical execution
- Lead content distribution strategy across multiple channels and formats
- Work cross-functionally with product marketing, demand marketing, and channel owners to curate relevant content
- Create and maintain quality standards and review processes for all education content
- Drive content testing and optimization initiatives
- Partner with subject matter experts to ensure content accurately reflects product value
- Make data-driven recommendations and report on performance to key stakeholders
- Manage relationships with content production partners and agencies
- Analyze, report on, and optimize against key performance metrics
Qualifications
- 8+ years of driving compelling creative strategy and execution at an agency or in-house creative team experience- Bachelor's degree
Extended Qualifications
- Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Keynote- Experience developing cross-functional relationships with product, consumer research and marketing teams to develop strategy and consumer insights that drive compelling creative executions
- Experience leading creative development of innovative creative from concept to delivery
- Experience managing creative (internal team of designers, copywriters, external agencies and freelancers)
- Experience presenting creative concepts effectively to senior executives
- Experience managing multiple projects and meeting aggressive deadlines

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
