North America Stores Marketing helps customers discover and engage with new, popular and relevant products across categories. We do this by combining technology, science, innovation, marketing and creativity to build new customer-facing features and experiences alongside advanced tools for marketers.

As part of North America Stores Marketing, Amazon Handmade is a gated, 3P-only program that requires all sellers to apply and receive approval to list in our store. Our Handmade criteria is defined as items that are handmade, hand-designed, hand-altered, repurposed, or upcycled. Our Handmade vision is to be the favorite place to buy and sell unique, special products – creating meaningful shopping experiences backed by the trust and convenience of Amazon.

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Product Marketing Manager to join the Handmade team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing key parts of our seller operations. You'll own the strategy and execution of programs and processes that attract, enable, and retain artisan sellers while maintaining our marketplace's quality and authenticity standards. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders across Amazon including Seller Support, Finance, and Customer Insights to deliver bar-raising seller experiences to make Handmade a compelling program and collaborative community of makers.

Key job responsibilities

- Own Handmade’s seller application experience, optimizing strategy/criteria for both quality and efficiency

- Own key metrics including application volume, approval rates, and time-to-list, translating data insights into actionable strategies.

- Drive operational excellence in seller screening and audit processes

- Lead end-to-end development and launch of new seller benefits, including fee structure, program access, and promotional tools

- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency

- Design and execute seller research to identify needs and validate proposed solutions



Qualifications

- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements

- Experience with onsite marketing, lifecycle marketing and digital advertising

- Bachelor's degree



Extended Qualifications

- Experience leading cross-functional teams to establish strong partnerships with demonstrable results

- Track record of launching successful seller-focused programs

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $125,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
