The Amazon Cross Border Business team's vision is to enable customers from anywhere in the world to purchase any product that we offer globally, through a localized cross-border shopping experience, at competitive prices, and a superior delivery experience. This business offers an incredible opportunity to address a large, new segment and base of potential customers. Our team is focused on building solutions that serve the needs of customers across 200+ countries to easily find and buy products on amazon.com, with a specific emphasis on countries where we do not have an Amazon Store or retail presence today.We are seeking an experienced Marketing Manager to lead international customer engagement through scalable growth marketing strategies (outbound, social media, creator/influencer) , and public relations (PR) solutions. The ideal candidate possesses a bar-raising strategic lens for growth marketing activations, functional knowledge of marketing through outbound (email), social media, influencers and PR, and strong skills in quantifying opportunity sizes, measuring performance, and communicating proposals/results.
The ideal candidate will take a customer backwards approach in proactively identifying key insights into customer perceptions, preferences and behaviors, and implementing actions to enable outbound, social, creators (influencers), and PR experiments and programs in cross-border locations in a scalable fashion. You will work autonomously yet collaboratively, handle multiple large-scale initiatives, and deliver results that raise the bar. You will make recommendations, construct debates, and inform senior leadership decisions. You will possess a blended balance of strategist, brand builder, market researcher, program manager and analyst. You will be comfortable thinking big and diving deep.
Key job responsibilities
• Scale outbound program, paid social marketing, creator/influencer growth, and PR in Amazon's cross-border destinations. Build investment framework, conduct experiments, measure performance, and report learnings.
• Dive into customer data to formulate strategies and proposals.
• Lead scoping and implementation of outbound programs, creator/influencer development, and paid social campaigns.
• Define PR priorities, and partner with internal PR stakeholders to scale PR efforts for key launches.
• Act as the main point of contact with internal stakeholders in Business Ops, Finance, Product, Tech, and UX to align and implement traffic channel activations.
• Define measurement, customer segmentation, and experimentation roadmap.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
- Excellence in written and verbal communication
Extended Qualifications
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives- Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
- Experience executing scaled marketing and PR campaigns through creators/influencers social media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
