Description
The Selling Partner API Marketing team is seeking a skilled Market Research Manager to join our growing team. This role will be key in understanding developer and seller perceptions, needs, and behaviors across our tooling ecosystem.The successful candidate will design and execute research projects that inform strategic decision-making about our API platforms, tools, and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to ensure our research insights drive meaningful improvements in the Selling Partner API experience.
Key job responsibilities
-Research Execution & Analysis: Design and execute research projects combining qualitative and quantitative methodologies • Analyze complex data sets using advanced statistical techniques • Develop research frameworks and methodologies specific to API experience measurement • Collaborate with vendors and agencies when needed, ensuring high-quality execution
-Insights Generation & Communication: Transform research findings into clear, actionable insights for product teams and leadership • Identify emerging trends and opportunities in the API and e-commerce ecosystem • Create compelling data visualizations and presentations to communicate insights effectively • Contribute to the development and maintenance of developer and seller personas and journey maps
-Stakeholder Collaboration: Present insights to product teams and contribute to strategy discussions • Build strong working relationships with Product, Engineering, and Developer Relations teams • Collaborate with global research teams to ensure consistent measurement and insights sharing
-Technical & Methodological Expertise: Apply appropriate research tools and technologies for data collection and analysis • Maintain high standards for research quality and methodological rigor
About the team
The Selling Partner Provider Success & Growth team provides a world-class solution provider experience that allows Amazon and external partners to innovate rapidly on behalf of our customers. We provide solution providers inside and outside of Amazon a comprehensive API suite and a self-service onboarding experience to simplify app development. The role sits within the Marketing team that is part of the Amazon Selling Partner Provider Success & Growth (PSG) org.
Qualifications
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $98,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
