You will lead programs in a dynamic and complex space that links our customers, our business and our support partner teams together, holding a high bar with regard to customer obsession and operational performance.
The Amazon Shipping is looking for a Sr Manager, Billing & Pyaments to lead our WW B&P team. This team's objective is to support all Billing & Payment issues for our shippers.
You will be responsible for supporting process creation, and continuous improvement. The role requires the ability to work cross-functionally across operational and technical teams improving our processes for billing, payments and credit check.
Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate will possess the ability to work across senior levels of leadership in multiple organizations to align on policy and proposed controls, as well as deliver at a high bar for quality.
In this role you will demonstrate excellent judgment, communication skills, instincts in decision-making and proactively and continually improve their level of knowledge about Amazon’s business and relevant technologies.
Key job responsibilities
-> Drives scalable solutions to ensure compliance with all relevant financial requirements.
-> Engages, across organizations, with leadership to design safety and compliance controls, best-in-class processes and systems, and drives continual improvement.
-> Makes recommendations to senior management on opportunities for organizational and business-level risk mitigation regarding compliance.
->Maintains subject matter expertise and current industry knowledge to advise senior leadership on emerging trends, regulatory requirements and on impact to business strategic roadmap.
->Earns trust of business partners by proactively engaging in order to understand business plans and providing support aligned with the business roadmap and deliverables.
A day in the life
Working with your team autonomously, analyzing data ensuring cross collaboration with stakeholders. Collaborating with business enablement partners reviewing and approving business expansion initiatives.
Closely working with product, improving existing processes and building new ones to improve overall shipper experience.

Qualifications
- 7+ years of financial product or program management experience- 5+ years of working directly with credit/finace teams experience
- 5+ years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- 5+ years of program management experience
Extended Qualifications
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
