Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Manager to own the functional delivery, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
of Amazon Leo's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), CAD, Fleet Management, ServiceNow, Supply Chain (Ariba,
E2open, or equivalent), and Trade Management platforms. This role holds functional ownership of the stated
applications, manages a team of systems development engineers, platform administrators, and technical program
managers, and leads the implementation of Supply Chain and Trade Management systems as they are stood up for
Leo.
This is a people management role. The leader we hire will build, develop, and retain a high-performing team while
delivering platform capabilities at pace. Success depends on hiring well, growing talent, maintaining a healthy team
culture, and creating the operating mechanisms that let a growing team deliver reliably.
This role is the execution arm for changes recommended by the Architecture Authority and the Business Process
Excellence function. When Architecture defines how systems connect and BPE defines how work flows, this role
delivers the platform changes that make both real. Accountability runs from requirements through build, test,
deployment, and sustained operations.
This role also owns the direct relationships with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain business leaders,
serving as the technology partner who translates business needs into platform capabilities and delivers continuous
improvement of the core processes these systems enabl
A day in the life
People Leadership and Team Development
• Build, hire, and develop a high-performing team of systems development engineers, platform administrators,
and technical program managers. Own the full talent lifecycle from recruiting through performance
management, career development, and succession planning.
• Set team vision, goals, and operating rhythm. Create clarity on priorities so the team delivers with confidence
and accountability.
• Foster a culture of technical excellence, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
• Manage performance thoughtfully. Recognize high performers, coach for growth, and address gaps directly.
• Establish team mechanisms for knowledge sharing, technical reviews, and skill development across platform
domains.
• Represent the team in leadership forums, executive reviews, and cross-functional planning. Advocate for team
needs and build organizational credibility.
Product Backlog and Delivery Execution
• Build and maintain a prioritized product backlog for
Qualifications
- 5+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources or equivalent experience- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on any cloud service provider like Azure, AWS, GCP, OCI, etc.
- Bachelor's degree
Extended Qualifications
- Experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernizing customer requirements to the cloud- Master's degree or MBA.
- • Experience with E2open, SAP GTS, Oracle Global Trade Management, or equivalent trade management
- platforms.
- • Ariba or Oracle Procurement Cloud implementation experience including integration with ERP materials
- management and finance modules.
- • ServiceNow platform administration and development experience.
- • CAD infrastructure management including HPC, licensing optimization, and visualization.
- • Aerospace, defense, satellite, or high-rate discrete manufacturing background.
- • Experience operating under ITAR, DFARS, CAS, and SOX regulatory frameworks.
- • Experience collaborating with enterprise architecture governance forums and business process design functions.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion Cloud, or equivalent ERP platforms in
- manufacturing environments.
- AWS or equivalent cloud platform experience is a plus.
- Track record of delivering measurable process improvement through platform investment.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
