The Prime Video Advertising team is at the forefront of revolutionizing the streaming advertising landscape. Our mission is to deliver ad tech solutions that power Prime Video's rapidly growing advertising business. We focus on a wide range of critical areas including ad ingestion, ad delivery, client-side ad experiences, machine learning-driven optimization, ad tracking, and audience measurement.

We're responsible for advertising across video-on-demand and live streaming on Prime Video, delivering value to both advertisers and viewers worldwide.

Key job responsibilities

We're hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to own the customer-facing quality bar for every advertising experience on Prime Video. You will lead the QA team that validates releases across our full device matrix: connected TVs, gaming consoles, mobile, web, and smart TVs. You will set the QA strategy and roadmap, hire and grow QA Engineers and SDETs, partner with engineering on shift-left automation using internal test frameworks and AI-assisted testing tools, and own live event readiness for marquee ad-supported launches.

- Lead a globally distributed QA team

- Set the QA vision and partner with engineering, product, and live operations on execution

- Own the release-validation roadmap and deliver it for every Prime Video Advertising launch

- Decide where to invest in automation versus manual scale, and which initiatives move forward

- Surface quality and regression risks with mitigation plans before they hit customers

- Brief senior leadership on risk and quality posture, in writing and verbally

- Drive resolution on quality decisions across teams with competing views

- Define and improve metrics across release quality, defect escape rate, automation coverage, production incident rate, MTTR, and live event readiness

About the team

Prime Video Advertising sits between Prime Video's playback stack and Amazon's ads platform. Our QA org partners daily with engineering, product, and live ops to ship ad experiences that hold up across hundreds of device-app combinations and live events watched by tens of millions. As QA Manager, you will work directly with engineering managers across ad ingestion, delivery, and playback, with live operations on event readiness, and with senior leaders on quality strategy. We invest in test automation, AI-assisted testing, and a strong on-call culture.
