Our PV Experience Technology (PVXT) team is constantly reimagining the Tech-driven customer experience, from how users experience live playback, to their experience on different living room and mobile devices.About the role
As the Senior HR Manager for PVXT, you'll partner directly with PV Tech executives who are reshaping how millions experience entertainment. You'll be more than just an HR leader – you'll drive organizational capability that ultimately leads to business impact. You’ll identify and drive the highest impact people initiatives - from organizational structure, operating models, and decision rights, to driving culture and shaping an engaged workforce that embraces AI and the future of streaming.

Your experience should demonstrate success in driving change at scale, with a track record of guiding senior leaders through complex organizational challenges. You'll bring both the strategic vision to anticipate future needs and the practical expertise to execute flawlessly on day-to-day talent operations.
The role demands someone equally comfortable analyzing workforce metrics as they are ideating how AI adoption can drive the business forward, or advising senior leaders on sensitive topics. You'll act as strategist, coach, and innovation partner – all in service of building the teams that will define the future of entertainment. A day in the life
• Start your morning collaborating with executive tech leaders on strategic workforce planning
• Attend a Tech strategy review to deepen understanding of the longer-term vision and the talent levers needed to achieve it
• Coach an executive on how to optimize their organizational strategy
• Analyze attrition and engagement data to develop targeted retention initiatives
• Lead an internal discussion session with HR peers on how developer AI tools can drive business impact
• Meet with recruiting to discuss hiring strategy for critical roles and "built in" inclusive hiring practices
About the team
The role is part of the Amazon People eXperience and Technology (PXT) organization – we build a workplace for Amazonians to invent and deliver on behalf of customers. PXT for Amazon Entertainment supports a portfolio of entertainment businesses that span film, TV, live sports, music, podcasts, games, audiobooks, livestreaming, and other media content.
You will be part of the PXT team that partners with our Technology, Science, Product, and Design organizations in Prime Video. At Prime Video, we're not just streaming content – we're revolutionizing how millions of people worldwide experience entertainment. Our Product and Design team is a dynamic group of innovators who believe in pushing boundaries, challenging the status quo, and partnering strategically with HR to drive results.
Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, or equivalent experience such as organizational consulting• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
• Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach senior leaders
• Strong analytical skills, including ability to deep dive data, surface insights, and build recommendations that have measurable impact
Extended Qualifications
• Strong business acumen and curiosity; ability to craft talent strategies that drive business impact• Strong executive facilitation and writing skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with HR COE partners to deliver integrated support and partnership to the business
• Ability to thrive through change and embrace the future with optimism, including leveraging GenAI to drive positive impact for employees
• Experience partnering with executive-level technical leaders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $253,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
