Description
Amazon's Litigation & Regulatory department is seeking an innovative leader to build and manage our Program Management Office (PMO). In this Seattle-based role, you will develop and lead a team of program managers dedicated to transforming our litigation operations through workflow optimization and operational excellence. Your strategic mindset will drive the implementation of scalable solutions that enhance efficiency and reduce legal spend. The role will require you to navigate complex stakeholder relationships across legal teams, finance, data engineering/business analysis, product, and technology teams.

Key job responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
•Set and execute PMO vision, strategy, and operational excellence standards.
•Drive adoption of AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance program efficiency.
•Lead financial operations including forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
•Oversee critical business mechanisms including legal goals, OP1, QBR, and other reporting.
•Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures across operations.
Program Management:
•Design and implement streamlined processes for change management.
•Drive innovation through standardization and automation initiatives.
•Lead cross-functional partnerships with technical and business teams to optimize resource allocation.
•Monitor and improve program effectiveness through data-driven analysis.
Team Development:
•Build and lead a high-performing PMO team.
•Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
•Develop talent and capabilities across the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience- 5+ years of team management experience
- 5+ years of cross functional project delivery experience
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (macros, pivots, lookups) at an advanced level
- Proven track record of driving operational improvements through data analytics.
- Experience in budget management and reporting.
- Experience presenting to and influencing senior leadership.
Extended Qualifications
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership- Experience with legal operations and understanding of litigation processes
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) and QuickSight
- Track record of implementing large-scale process improvements
- Expertise in stakeholder management across organizational levels
- Strong background in financial analysis and reporting
- Excellence in cross-functional leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $189,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
