Description
The Selling Partner Services organization (SPS) is looking for an innovative, results-oriented, communications strategist to lead and deliver internal communications for the Vice President of this global organization. In this highly visible role, you will bring a compelling internal communications plan to life, incorporating business knowledge, long term vision and priorities through our mechanisms to ensure connection and engagement with all SPS employees. This position will work closely with the SPS leadership team, People eXperience and Technology (PXT), Public Relations, and Legal to identify, analyze, and develop and deliver strategies to improve internal communications for the VP across the organization. Additionally, this role will establish an SPS communications community of practice that will engage across the organization to deliver the overarching strategy and vision to our employees. The ideal candidate thinks big, takes initiative, dives deep into details, simplifies complex messages across a large, dispersed organization keeping the pace required for information to cascade at the right time. The candidate for this position is also composed in fast-moving situations, embraces ambiguity, ramps quickly on complex topics, and anticipates employee questions and reactions. We’re looking for a senior leader who is creative and is comfortable telling internal stories through written, video, and digital channels.Key job responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative internal communications strategies that engage our diverse, global employee population.
Provide expert internal communications counsel to the SPS VP and partner with the executive leadership team as need while effectively communicating with a wide range of internal stakeholders
Look around corners to spot emerging topics and lead the development and execution of proactive internal communication plans
Track and report internal communication strategy effectiveness to internal stakeholders
Continually monitor, analyze, and tune internally facing messaging to maximize impact
Drive internal organization branding and the creation of internal-facing content for the VP of SPS

Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience managing teams
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in traditional and emerging media channels including TV, OOH, cinema, digital display, online video and paid social- Experience leading across multiple locales

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $140,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $232,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
