Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement:

Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

As the SAP Applications Support Manager, you will manage the SAP RISE system engineering ensuring service and support provided is timely and accurate on a daily basis. You will play a key role in ensuring that SAP applications are supporting and serving Kuiper's mission to build Satellites.

Key job responsibilities

- Lead the internal SAP support work day-to-day operations, review user experience and feedback & contributing to the overall improvement of our application adoption and functionality. Closely work with contractors and internal team members to address support needs for SAP system.

- Provide end-user support to all levels of production operations including Procurement, Sales, Trade compliance, Finance and Quality, and provide advice regarding standard SAP functionality and best practices as it evolves with company needs

- Maintain and present metrics and dashboards regarding SLAs to executive level management

- Mentor and coach junior developer resources and work closely with internal and external teams, and business users

- Interface with developers and configurators for performance and data access requirements

- Stay current with new ERP / SAP technology developments and techniques, research new software and tools, proactively recommend improvements

You will help to develop and maintain high quality and reusable solutions that result in a low total cost of ownership. The individual will be responsible to lead ABAP engineers, integration developers and work closely with solution architects, business stakeholders and external partners to develop ERP solutions to meet Kuiper business needs

About the team

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Our team focuses on building Enterprise System Applications for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are the Procurement, Accounting, Finance and Supply Chain teams at Kuiper.



Qualifications

- 3+ years of team management experience

- Bachelor's degree

- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product



Extended Qualifications

- Experience in software development

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $149,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $258,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
