Amazon Sort Tech is seeking a visionary Senior Business Intelligence Manager to lead the team developing breakthrough analytics solutions that will revolutionize how we optimize our global transportation network.Key job responsibilities
As a Manager III, Business Intelligence, you will:
* Manage a team of BIEs, BAs, and DEs managing data for Sort Tech covering our data vending platform, suite of analytics products and driving insights.
* Drive the analytics strategy and vision, developing new mental models and frameworks that challenge status quo approaches to operational metrics
* Architect comprehensive analytics platforms that unify disparate data sources into cohesive insights engines, scaling solutions across the network
* Partner with senior leadership to translate complex business challenges into actionable analytics roadmaps and identify opportunities for breakthrough improvements
* Design and implement automated, scalable solutions that transform how the organization leverages data for decision-making
* Pioneer new approaches to experimental design and machine learning that enable proactive optimization
Qualifications
- 7+ years of business intelligence and analytics experience- 5+ years of delivering results managing a business intelligence or analytics team, including employee development and performance management experience
- Experience with SQL
- Experience with ETL
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with R, Python, Weka, SAS, Matlab or other statistical/machine learning software
Extended Qualifications
- 4+ years of working with very large data warehousing environment experience- 10+ years of data warehouse technical architectures, data modeling, infrastructure components, ETL/ ELT and reporting/analytic tools and environments, data structures and hands-on SQL coding experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
