This strategic role will support global expansion by managing marketing content localization across 10+ languages, ensuring consistent and culturally appropriate messaging for international markets. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end localization projects for assigned geographies, from initial planning through final delivery. This role involves overseeing translation workflows, collaborating with and supporting regional language content specialists, managing vendors, and terminology management.
Success in this fast-paced position requires exceptional autonomy and the ability to consistently deliver high-quality results under demanding timelines. The role demands an adaptable professional who can pivot quickly while managing shifting priorities. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated cross-functional communication experience, superior problem-solving capabilities, and proven negotiation skills, coupled with a drive for process optimization. Essential qualities include meticulous attention to detail, technical proficiency, and organizational abilities that can effectively bridge diverse international teams.
Please note that this is a Seattle, WA office-based role.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end localization project management, including schedule development, resource planning, and cross-functional coordination for localization projects across assigned languages and geographies
- Drive collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements, establish priorities, and maintain quality standards for all localization deliverables
- Monitor and manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships while identifying and mitigating potential risks and schedule conflicts
- Maintain quality control through oversight of translation workflows, glossary management, style guides and coordination with regional QA teams
- Communicate project status to stakeholders and senior leadership
- Identify and document gaps or inefficiencies in project management tools and processes within and between teams and suggest improvements
- Manage language and localization assets like Translation Memories, Term bases, and Style Guides

Qualifications
- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams
- Experience equally comfortable building strategic marketing plans and executing at a tactical level
- Experience managing documentation localization projects, or similar deliverables.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
