Prime Air is seeking an innovative, analytical, and full cycle Sr. Learning Program Manager to define, build and implement game-changing, just-in-time learning solutions at scale. This person will the main interface with the team's stakeholders. They will be responsible for defining and executing the Prime Air's learning strategy to meet the business needs. The ideal candidate will have experience leading learning initiatives in a fast-paced and often ambiguous work environment; someone who is a proactive problem solver, meticulous, and customer-obsessed. The candidate will be as comfortable working on high-level strategy and design as they are working on implementation.

Key job responsibilities

* Develop the Learning & Development strategy to meet the business' needs and support its expansion plans.

* Manage delivery to plan and report to stakeholders on the achievement of key milestones

* Managing the learning platforms and program management aspects of the program (Learn, JIRA, Confluence, SIM, access groups, permissions, etc.)

* Manage training requests from intake to evaluation

* Partner with peer learning experience developers to align our learning programs with the desired business outcomes, and define the desired measurable impact of learning interventions.

* Define and create the appropriate metrics to evaluate performance delivery of expected business results

* Own and delivery the periodic business update for the L&D team

A day in the life

You exercise a high degree of ownership, strong business acumen, and excellent communication to support the development of technically embedded learning solutions.

You consult with cross-organizational peers and third party customers to evaluate performance needs, and demonstrate experience-based high judgement to recommend the appropriate, bar-raising solutions. You Earn Trust with stakeholders to construct and prioritize forward-looking development roadmaps which optimize development capacity and maximize deliverables in a defined period.

You dive deep into details with subject matter experts to define end user personas and performance requirements. You develop globally scalable, repeatable knowledge and skill acquisition strategies that are easily adopted, and optimized for defect-free performance execution. Your solutions measurably enable customers to achieve targeted business impact outcomes, and integrate seamlessly with tech solutions and operational processes.

You relentlessly seek out voice of customer feedback to validate real-world efficacy and continuously improve solutions. You use a combination of objective data and anecdote to continuously improve end-user experience and deliver on our customer promise.

You thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and operate with a high sense of urgency to deliver results on time and on target.

About the team

Our team is organized as a Sr. PM(s) to balance demand with capacity and ensure we deliver to meet the business needs, learning experience professionals to create learning journeys and content, and technical trainers to deliver Instructor-led Training for some specific domains. This position will support the PM function.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of program or project management experience

- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements

- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- 2+ years of driving process improvements experience

- Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field

- * Amazon-specific Learning Management System (i.e. Amazon Learn and KNet)

- * Learning content development programs (e.g. Rise)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
