Our team is looking for an experienced Sr. Learning Experience Designer to develop highly impactful learning for client facing teams—specifically Sales roles, as well as Amazon Ads advertisers.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing a number of projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. The candidate will have experience developing training across multiple modalities and formats, which include eLearning, in-person training, and webinar-style courses to support our global audience. This individual should be a problem solver who is meticulous, customer-obsessed, and a strong leader. They must also be willing to innovate and insist on the highest standards.

Key job responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced training professional to partner with sales leadership and subject matter experts to build, iterate, and execute training development. These responsibilities could include, and are not limited to:

• Translate business needs into training curriculum and educational content.

• Work with key stakeholders and subject matter experts across Amazon Ads to understand training needs and build impactful educational content that leverages the latest technology and adult learning concepts.

• Create content and curriculum which will support the competency models developed for each role

• Use project management tools and skills to manage medium to large scale projects

• Ensure adult learning principles and systematic instructional design are applied to create the required learning solutions and programs applying to create learning content that best fits the needs of the learner (includes online, classroom, webinar-style courses, and blended learning content).

• Leverage rapid, agile development techniques and processes to create content for a rapidly changing environment.

• Lead process improvement efforts.

• Develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, and other methods of learning including social or connected learning strategies, and multimedia based assets.

• Lead needs analyses and learning strategy development activities to improve individual and organizational performance through learning.



Qualifications

- 8+ years of design experience

- Have an available online portfolio

- Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation



Extended Qualifications

- Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions

- Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
