Description

Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Candidates must be 18 years or older with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.

Key job responsibilities

• Ensuring effective onboarding and a positive onboarding experience across all associate levels

• Develop and track effectiveness of training programs, including orientation

• Monitor adherence to the established training programs to ensure high quality delivery of training

• Recruit, train and develop our learning technicians to ensure the best training outcomes

• Ensuring positive and effective collaboration between the learning team and relevant stakeholders

• Analyzing and interpreting metrics such as learning curves and quality defects to identify areas for improvement

• Creating and updating learning materials/processes and SOP’s

• Providing training to the learning team on changes to learning materials/processes

• Providing coaching to employees regarding execution of standard work and performance

• Contributing to the development of Kuiper wide training material/processes, working on projects to align on Kuiper fulfillment training programs

• Balance and prioritize multiple tasks



Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate

• 2+ years of experience in an inventory or analytical role

• 2+ years of experience working with SAP/ERP systems

• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted

• Lifting, standing, climbing, bending, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position

• Ability to work all required shift hours, including overtime, and weekends, as needed

• Expected shift start is 6 AM to 9 AM but shifts may change due to business needs

• Ability to solve problems: react quickly and productively, serving as a resource for specific problems and undertaking the appropriate steps to resolve



Extended Qualifications

• Experience administering, creating, and improving training content

• Experience leading a learning

• General knowledge of the 5 Why’s and RCA

• General understanding of lean manufacturing

• 2+ years of database experience

• Experience within the aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or electronic manufacturing fields

• Detail oriented, organized, and demonstrates a high sense of urgency

• Previous Kaizen/Continuous Improvement experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $61,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $100,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
