Description

The Launch Operations / Dispenser System Technical Program Manager (TPM) will manage the end-to-end engineering and production lifecycles for the Kuiper Dispenser System (KDS). They will work across internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful design, qualification, manufacturing and delivery of this space flight hardware.
An ideal candidate is a technical leader of the team, as well as being responsible for project management, and will provide guidance on all aspects of the project. The candidate will work closely with the Dispenser provider(s), Leo engineering teams, Launch Operations Mission Managers who own the Launch Provider relationships, and Payload Processing Facility operational leadership. They should be comfortable in a highly technical setting, collaborating with - but also challenging assumptions and requirements - of these departments to reach the best solution to any problem.
They'll have extensive experience in space hardware integration and test, with particular focus on satellite to dispenser and/or launch vehicle integration.
*25% international travel is expected for this role
Qualifications
- 7+ years of technical product or program management experience- 10+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
