Our team is seeking a Senior Environmental Launch Field Manager responsible for creating and overseeing innovative launch solutions that span across multiple regions and business lines. The Senior Environmental Launch Field Manager will use environmental regulatory knowledge and expertise when working with partners worldwide. This role will support strategies that ensure our new building launches are in compliance with environmental regulations and Amazon best practices. The person in this role will use effective communication to send clear, concise, and consistent messages, both verbally and in writing. This role will focus on implementing scalable and sustainable solutions and programs while increasing environmental compliance at field locations worldwide. The Senior Environmental Field Launch Manager must be able to work independently in an ambiguous environment. Must be open to travel up to 25% as applicable

Key job responsibilities

• Intercept feedback and needs from our customers and execute environmental launch solutions within a team that is based on business and regional needs.

• Prioritize incoming requests and allocate launch related projects to your team.

• Contribute and assist with strategy documents, OP1, QBR’s, and budget initiatives.

• Oversee and manage environmental launch projects amongst a large team of external consultants.

• Be capable of identifying, communicating and mitigating environmental launch risks to support a successful launch process.

• Own tracking environmental launch success through data development and analysis.

• Develop launch procedures, tools, systems, and launch standard work while continuing to search for areas of automation and standardization.

• Provide strategic environmental support future business growth and expansion projects.

Qualifications

- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- 6+ years of experience in program management, project management, environmental science/engineering (or a similar field)



Extended Qualifications

- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification

- Master's degree or equivalent

- Global experience and working on programs that span across multiple geographies simultaneously

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
