Join our dynamic team as an International Tax Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the tax strategies for our innovative digital businesses, including Amazon Games and Luna. Your expertise will drive tax-efficient planning and ensure seamless coordination across global teams.Key job responsibilities
- Evaluate and provide tax-efficient planning advice on business transactions and restructurings.
- Collaborate with business partners, finance teams, and members of the corporate tax department to ensure well-advised tax advice.
- Conduct relevant tax technical analysis on the US and local country tax impacts of business activities.
- Create and maintain appropriate documentation to support reporting, compliance, and ongoing tax controversy analysis.
- Communicate complex tax concepts in understandable and useful ways to non-tax professionals.
A day in the life
In this role, you will collaborate with business partners, finance teams, and members of the corporate tax department to evaluate and provide tax-efficient planning advice on business transactions and restructurings. You will be at the forefront of ensuring that our digital businesses are well-advised on the tax impact of their activities, and that the relevant tax technical analysis is properly documented to support our reporting, compliance, and ongoing tax controversy analysis.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Master's degree, or CPA
Extended Qualifications
- Master's degree in accounting, finance, business or related field- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead complex, milestone driven project, including the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

The base pay for this position ranges from $80,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $172,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
