Description

As an Internal Communications Specialist on the Amazon Ads and WW Amazon Stores Internal Communications team, you will play a critical role in helping develop, build and manage our internal communications initiatives to support a steady flow of information and updates both within the business and broadly across Amazon. You will serve as a program manager for the internal communications mechanisms serving the Ads and WW Amazon Stores organizations, and will support development of robust editorial calendars, audience segmentation strategies and measurement reporting. You will have excellent writing, editing and communications skills and the ability to work backwards from the internal customer to put forward a professional, clear, consistent message. The ideal candidate must possess talent for collaboration, have the ability to flex when needed, and agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business to deliver the most important information to employees.

Key job responsibilities

- Work with partners across the business and global comms teams to source communications and original content focused on employee experiences and Amazon’s culture.

- Support global internal communications programs that reinforce business and Amazon priorities and strategy.

- Leverage internal communications tools including meetings, wikis, newsletters, email, video and more to engage employees.

- Manage communications feedback gathering and new reporting and measurement mechanisms



Qualifications

- 1+ years of recent professional communications or public relations experience

- Bachelor's degree



Extended Qualifications

- Exemplary written and oral communication skills

- Experience in the high-tech, digital advertising, or online retail industries

- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities

- Comfort collaborating with global teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $51,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $110,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
