Prime Video is transforming how the world experiences entertainment, and we need a talented senior HR leader to partner with the teams who make this possible. Prime Video (PV) is a premium streaming service offering customers a vast collection of TV shows, movies, live events, and news – all in one seamless destination. Our PV Product and Design teams are constantly reimagining the gateway to this entertainment experience, ensuring that customers can easily discover and engage with content they love.

As Principal HR Business Partner, you'll partner closely with the VPs of Product and Design and their leadership teams to drive organizational effectiveness. You'll identify opportunities to optimize operating models, decision rights, org structure, and talent mix to deliver innovative customer solutions with speed and efficiency. You'll champion our culture, working with leaders to build an engaged workforce that embraces the future, including AI tools, to drive innovation and customer delight. Through your high judgment and strategic thinking, you'll engage with executive leaders as a collaborative partner and coach, embracing talent challenges as opportunities for growth. You'll take a systematic approach to organizational health, establishing mechanisms that drive employee engagement, retain top talent, build inclusive teams, and continuously raise the performance bar.

To be successful in this role, you'll bring deep passion for business success, matched with strong learning agility to grasp complex challenges. You will have a strong track record of effective partnership with senior executives, ability to influence with data while connecting quantitative and qualitative insights, and ability to partner effectively with HR centers of excellence while driving local innovation. Your experience includes managing end-to-end talent cycles, from executive-level strategic organizational planning to annual performance and compensation processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in an HR generalist leadership role, or equivalent experience such as organizational consulting

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university



Extended Qualifications

• Strong business acumen and ability to work well across different functions in order to integrate HR and business strategies

• Exceptional listening skills and ability to relate to, influence, and coach employees of all levels in the organization, including senior leaders

• Strong analytical skills, including ability to deep dive data, surface insights, and build initiatives to address

• Excellent written and verbal communication; high quality document writing and facilitator skills

• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $139,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $230,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
