Amazon is seeking a Global Stock Plan Manager to join our Global Financial & Workplace Benefits team in Seattle WA. This hands-on individual contributor role will collaborate extensively with internal stakeholders and external partners to support stock compliance activities, including regulatory reporting requirements of Amazon's global stock plans, mobility taxation, the employee equity plan component of geographic expansion initiatives, and merger & acquisition (M&A) transactions. Qualified candidates will have stock plan compliance or mobile taxation experience.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, works effectively with internal and external contacts, has proven abilities to manage critical projects concurrently and through to successful completion, and enjoys the challenges of improving processes in a highly dynamic environment. The successful candidate must demonstrate critical thinking skills, a strong focus on attention to detail with sound judgement, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and a passion for customer service.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive global stock plan compliance strategies

• Lead regulatory change management across international jurisdictions

• Coordinate complex mobile tax positions and equity transactions

• Design and execute stock plan initiatives for geographic and merger expansion activities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative equity plan solutions

• Support global stock plan reporting and compliance related activities.

• Oversee implementation of regulatory changes to ensure program design and administration adheres to country-specific requirements.

• Support in managing mobile tax positions, policies, and RSU mobile transactions.

• Provide guidance, consultation, assess risks, and lead implementation of employee stock plans for geographic M&A activities.

• Manage stock plan initiatives and related change management plans.

• Partner with internal and external business partners to research, provide input and recommendations on equity plan initiatives and policies.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on equity plan obligations, working closely with leadership, process owners, business expansion partners, Legal, HR, Finance Operations, Tax, Payroll, and M&A teams.

• Develop and execute new procedures and best practices to comply with local regulations in new jurisdictions and legal entities resulting from expansion and acquisition activities.

• Design and deliver comprehensive stock plan trainings, as needed.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of strategic and operational medical program management in national employer health plans experience

- 5+ years of U.S. benefits programs and benefits administration management experience

- Bachelor's degree or above in Healthcare, Business, Human Resources, or related field

- Can develop ad-hoc reporting to meet specific business needs

- Can communicate effectively with all levels of the organization

- Experience managing international health benefits



Extended Qualifications

- Experience handling ambiguous or undefined challenges through strong problem solving abilities

- Experience with end-to-end project management, or experience prioritizing and handling multiple assignments at any given time while maintaining commitment to deadlines

- 10+ years of experience in global equity plan development, administration, and program governance.

- Possession of professional designation such as Certified Equity Professional (CEP), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).

- Comprehensive knowledge of employee stock plan design along with associated complexities of plan administration, regulatory requirements, and taxability implications.

- International business experience with stock or finance/accounting.

- Excellent organization skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

- Strong business judgment and a practical, common-sense approach to solving complex problems.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
