Our DGL team is looking for a results-oriented individual to drive all aspects of cross-functional programs within our team. This individual will be responsible for developing collaborative relationships across various internal functions. This individual will be expected to quickly ramp-up on the end-to-end logistics and supply chain processes, execute tactically daily activities, and provide clear structure and oversight to new initiatives. This individual must have an excellent connection to details with the ability to quickly understand and contribute to large cross-functional initiatives. This individual will be expected to understand and solve complex issues, establish patterns and practices, and lead global programs. Key responsibilities will include representing the DGL team to understand, influence and document Amazon systems behaviors that impact customer experience and inventory availability through optimization and process improvement. You will be responsible for providing educational style communication, developing relationships with Amazon technical support teams to influence changes and metric reporting that are globally impactful of an operational and technical nature.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrated ability to take large, complex and ambiguous programs and simplifying them for team learnings, develop functional processes to improve customer experience, and deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, keen ability to influence, analytical prowess and leadership skills are essential to success in this role. Candidates with proven experience working in developing high performing supply chains are ideal.

Key job responsibilities

Support tactical business operations while using data to drive systemic, hands off the wheel approach to improve overall program management activities.

A day in the life

This role supports the end to end logistics of Amazon Devices, from managing and defining processes with our logistic service providers, gaining alignment and writing business requirement documents for technical design, to Amazon Freight Network deep dives to understand and appropriately react to the ever changing environment on Device customers.



Qualifications

- 5+ years of with Excel experience

- Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years of professional or military experience

- Experience working with complex data sets

- Experience communicating results to senior leadership



Extended Qualifications

- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques

- Experience with SQL

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $109,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
