Description
Amazon seeks a Finance Manager to partner with our Devices (FireTV and Alexa) and Central Advertising teams to drive on-device advertising. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of monetization initiatives and support monetization initiatives that span across Amazon FireTV and Alexa devices. FireTV devices provide streaming experience through streaming media players, as well as Amazon branded and 3rd party TVs. Alexa devices are designed entirely around your voice. The role involves working with stakeholders across multiple business lines within Amazon, with visibility across Devices and Amazon. This is a great opportunity for an entrepreneurial minded candidate who wants to join innovative businesses at Amazon. Devices or Advertising industry experience is preferred but not required.Key job responsibilities
• Developing business cases and the financial models for new on-device monetization initiatives.
• Drive the financial planning / budgeting process.
• Lead key analytical projects that assist and influence the business.
• Develop business insights and KPI dashboards.
• Compile and review financial results and operational plans and communicate results to leadership.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 3+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Extended Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- MBA, or CPA
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience working with stakeholders
- Experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $60,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $128,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
