Join our dynamic team as a Senior Financial Analyst supporting marketing operations with financial insights. In this role, you'll partner directly with marketing leadership to drive strategic decision-making through sophisticated financial analysis and reporting. Key job responsibilities

- Partner with marketing operations leadership to provide strategic financial guidance, build comprehensive budgeting frameworks, and assess return on investment for various marketing initiatives

- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models and reporting systems that track performance metrics, headcount planning, and budget utilization to drive data-informed decision making

- Lead cross-functional automation and AI projects that enhance financial reporting capabilities and drive productivity improvements across the marketing organization

- Conduct detailed financial analysis to solve complex business challenges, delivering actionable insights that influence strategic direction and resource allocation

- Research and analyze financial, operational, and technical details to develop comprehensive business insights and effectively represent financial perspective in executive discussions

A day in the life

Your typical day involves collaborating closely with the marketing operations team to address strategic financial questions and provide analytical support. You'll build and refine high-quality reporting dashboards, prepare for and participate in cross-business reviews (xBRs), and respond to ad-hoc analysis requests from stakeholders. Throughout the day, you'll track budgets against plans, identify variances, and recommend course corrections. You'll also have opportunities to research and implement AI-driven solutions that enhance your team's financial planning capabilities.

Qualifications

- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence

- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience

- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience

- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience

- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience



Extended Qualifications

- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience

- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
