Description
Prime Video (PV) is changing the way millions of customers enjoy video. Prime Video delivers premium content to customers through purchase and rental of movies and TV shows, unlimited on-demand streaming through Amazon Prime subscriptions, add-on channels like Paramount + and HBO, and live concerts and sporting events like NFL Thursday Night Football.We are seeking a Finance Analyst to work closely with leaders of the Prime Video Core Tech organization to develop operational and financial analysis for all Prime Video product investments impacting our AWS portfolio, cost out initiatives, and free cash flow.
This opportunity is ideal for a finance professional who is passionate about technology, video entertainment and looking for a challenge in a high growth, new business environment. This critical role requires a self-starter with strong business modeling skills and attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities
- Act as trusted partner to the PV Core Tech Leadership team in making optimal business decisions and highlighting critical blockers, risks, and opportunities that impact ability to meet quarterly/annual goals.
- Own Annual Compute and CDN forecasting and actuals process, incorporating efficiency initiatives and Live Sports investments.
- Own the FCF (Free Cash Flow) and Cost Out Goal process across PV Core Tech.
- Provide forecasting and financial updates to director and VP engineering leadership.
- Build AI-assisted automated reporting to focus time on strategic analysis
Qualifications
- 4+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
- 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience
- Experience with advanced use of SQL for data mining and business intelligence
Extended Qualifications
- 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
