We seek a world class Senior Finance Manager to provide end-to-end financial support to the business partners in AWS Solutions. The successful candidate will help drive the growth of the organization by providing financial stewardship and analytical insights into key financial and operational performance metrics. They will be a strategic partner to the business and assist in evaluating operational processes, business opportunities, and support planning / forecasting.
This individual will have exposure to senior leaders, including the AWS CEO and CFO.
The successful candidate must have a passion for detail and the ability to dive deep into the foundational building blocks of AWS to drive long-term business growth.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead and develop a team of financial professionals
- Drive advanced financial modeling to support critical business decisions
- Manage rhythm of the business mechanisms and reporting for key metrics across the business units
- Possess the passion and demonstrated skills for developing relationships, processes, and continuous improvement
- Provide leadership, guidance, and implementation on driving process improvement
Qualifications
- 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of hiring, leading and developing teams experience- 5+ years of working with senior staff (e.g. c-suite) experience
- MBA, or CPA

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $227,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
