Our Sr Finance Analyst work with multiple stakeholders, they help others understand financial decisions and are *the* trusted business advisor. To help you ramp, you will start owning standardization and plan deep dives, you will support our transition to Gen/Agentic AI utilization, and will then take ownership of budget input drivers.
Key job responsibilities
- Support planning processes with various stakeholders across HQ and Field Finance
- Deliver Deep Dives and provide insights before leadership reviews, manage communication with stakeholders and monitor closure of follow-up items
- Drive standardization and automation implementations to improve the overall planning function
- Responsible for strengthening controllership, bringing financial transparency, reducing defects, and driving improvements in operational cost.
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate, automated and timely.
A day in the life
Your day begins by aligning input requirements with various stakeholders across the organization. You'll spend time modeling these inputs to generate sensible financial impacts and working collaboratively with business partners to build compelling narratives for senior leadership. As challenges arise, you'll analyze data quickly to understand repercussions and prioritize actions that will drive decisions steering the direction of the business. Throughout the day, you'll navigate between strategic thinking and detailed analysis, always focused on delivering insights that create value.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of quantitative role (engineering, process re-engineering, quality assurance) experience- 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
- 3+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
- 2+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
- 3+ years of advanced proficiency in Excel (pivots, lookups, etc.) experience
Extended Qualifications
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)- 2+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 2+ years of data interpretation and analysis to influence stakeholders experience

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
