Description
Amazon is seeking an intuitive, trustworthy, and customer-obsessed Executive Assistant to join its Tax Reporting team. This role offers the opportunity to partner with Finance Directors, key business partners, and a collaborative team of Executive Assistants in a high-functioning, innovative environment with diverse challenges to advance your professional career.As an Executive Assistant supporting multiple Finance Directors, you will be a fast learner who exercises sound judgment in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment. You will demonstrate excellent prioritization and multitasking abilities to complete complex tasks with minimal supervision. We seek someone who wants to be more than "just an Admin"—a detail-oriented planner with proven ability to communicate effectively, respond efficiently, proactively anticipate needs, and maintain flexibility and a sense of humor. You must understand business priorities, drive improvements for geographically dispersed teams, maintain strict confidentiality and data privacy, react with appropriate urgency, and take effective action independently.
This role requires five (5) days per week in office.
Key job responsibilities
Calendar and Meeting Management
- Manage complex calendar scheduling for leaders supporting teams across multiple locations/geographies.
- Coordinate quarterly Provision Team process management, scheduling 10-20 day or week-specific meetings months in advance with global tax team, broader finance teams, and upper management
- Schedule and coordinate monthly Team meetings
- Provide limited calendar support for team members, particularly for meetings with senior leaders
Agenda and Meeting Coordination
- Manage agenda processes to ensure meetings are at capacity from a topical perspective
- Prepare and send Director agendas with all relevant details
- Coordinate meeting day logistics and slide aggregation
- Procure agendas, book rooms, manage meals, and engage speakers for team events
Team Activities and Events
- Organize and execute morale events and cross-functional team Summits
- Coordinate staff meeting agendas, off-sites, and social events
- Manage operational support for event execution
Travel, Expenses, and Administrative Support
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements
- Process and submit expense reports with accuracy and timeliness
- Track and drive completion of key deliverables with proactive follow-up on action items
- Act as liaison for direct reports and cross-functional partners
- Manage team space planning, office moves, and reconfigurations
- Prepare, edit, and ensure readiness of documents and presentations
- Partner closely with leadership, recruiting, and Executive Assistants to support organizational needs
- Navigate ambiguity and make autonomous decisions when appropriate
- Complete complex tasks quickly with minimal guidance
- Foster a positive work environment and help others have fun at work
Learn and Be Curious with Top Technology

From coordinating quarterly tax processes months in advance to preparing comprehensive QBR metrics, you are the behind-the-scenes catalyst that keeps our organization running smoothly. You anticipate needs before they arise, solve problems independently, and create systems that improve team effectiveness.
About the team
The Global Income Tax Reporing team is a critical function within Amazon's Finance organization, responsible for ensuring accurate tax provision reporting and compliance across Amazon's global operations. We are a collaborative, detail-oriented team that values innovation, precision, and continuous improvement. Our work directly impacts Amazon's financial reporting and tax strategy, requiring partnership with multiple stakeholders across the company, including senior finance leadership and external partners. Qualifications
- 3+ years of senior level leadership support, or 1+ years of Amazon experience- High school or equivalent diploma
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience with executive level calendar management
Extended Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company- Experience managing multiple calendars
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience in complex problem solving, and working in a tight schedule environment
- Experience with written and verbal communication and presentation
- Experience in problem solving and delivering results
- Experience managing training programs or teams across multiple sites or regions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
