Description

The AWS People eXperience and Technology (PXT) organization (HR) is seeking a senior-level Executive Assistant to provide support to the Director of PXT for Applied AI Solutions as well as one additional leader.

Join AWS as a key strategic partner helping to shape the future of AI through exceptional executive support. This role goes beyond traditional EA duties; you'll be the backbone of a critical organization, directly enabling two influential leaders who are driving AWS's artificial intelligence initiatives.

We build the culture, talent, and organization that ensures all Builder thrive in creating, inventing and delivering for our customers globally. From Day One, this role will focus on keeping the organization’s leader and team organized, informed, and on task. You will manage complex calendars, coordinate meetings with S-team leaders, prepare materials for PXT leadership discussions, and serve as a trusted partner to these executives. High-level calendar management and scheduling will require attention to detail as well as superb time management and organizational skills. You should be comfortable juggling multiple priorities, managing last-minute escalations, and effectively partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the organization to get things done.

You must understand business priorities and demonstrate the ability to proactively anticipate needs and drive improvements. This role requires professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information. You should be resourceful, forward-thinking, and a creative problem solver.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities

Own complex calendar and scheduling

Own domestic and international travel

Track and follow up on action items from S-team and PXT leadership meetings to ensure completion

Manage expense report coordination and submission

-

Develop, organize, execute, and assist with team activities (Staff meetings; All-Team meetings; Off-Sites; and team social events/recognition

Track and help drive completion of key deliverables

Manage team space, including moves, new hire location assignments, and re-configurations

Work closely with the leadership team and our business partners.

Partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and across the company

A day in the life

In this role, you will have exposure to S-team level strategic initiatives, opportunity to build and lead process improvements across the organization, access to and mentorship by AWS's most senior level Executive Business Partners, and partnership with other forward-thinking Executive Assistants who are pioneering the use of AI tools to revolutionize executive support.

You'll collaborate with fellow EAs who are actively shaping how artificial intelligence enhances our productivity and effectiveness in supporting AWS leadership. You will be working in a constantly changing environment with frequent S-team engagement, you will demonstrate initiative, complete tasks and projects quickly, and proactively take action without having to know the total picture. You will learn organizational structures and objectives of the teams you support, as well as build a strong internal network. You will apply superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines and juggle multiple critical requests while maintaining flexibility, a sense of humor, and most importantly, grace under pressure. Over time, you will build deep and trusting professional relationships with the leaders and their teams, which will blossom into strong partnerships that provide opportunities for special projects with increased responsibility and long-term career growth.



Qualifications

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

- 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience

- High school or equivalent diploma

- Experience with domestic or international travel coordination

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
