Description

The Communications and Corporate Responsibility organization (CCR) is seeking a proactive, highly organized, and collaborative lead Executive Assistant. This position will provide support to the Vice President of the Reputation & Content Strategy team, while also partnering with the broader CCR EA team on organizational projects.

This role is responsible for providing direct support to the Vice President, including complex calendar management, international and domestic travel coordination (including detailed itineraries, logistics, and expense reporting), and event planning. The Executive Assistant will also manage the rhythm of business and strategic projects for the organization.

In this role, you will have a relentless ability to taken action when needed with little direction, and a strong ability to effectively communicate at all levels. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information is required, as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives and EA partners across Amazon. You must have a demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity using strong judgment and diplomacy, and to adapt to shifting priorities with minimal guidance.

This role requires five (5) days a week in office.

Key job responsibilities

- Manage complex calendars, prioritize meetings, and coordinate large-scale events

- Complete expense reports proactively

- Coordinate travel arrangements, including domestic and international

- Drive key team activities such as staff meetings, team morale events, and offsites

- Contribute to rhythm of business planning and goal setting

- Track and ensure the completion of key deliverables

- Act as a liaison between the team and key stakeholders

- Partner with other Executive Assistants throughout the team and across Amazon

- Handle confidential materials and information with discretion

- Develop and maintain new mechanisms to maximize team efficiency

Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant

- Experience with executive-level calendar management

- Experience with domestic and international travel coordination

- Experience with planning large and small-scale team events

- Experience with Microsoft Office Products

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments while maintaining a commitment to deadlines and long-term goals

- Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job

- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
