Description

We are looking for an exceptionally organized and proactive Executive Assistant who wants to work in a fast-paced, exciting and dynamic organization supporting the Vice President of Delivery Experience (DEX) in Bellevue, Washington.

As the lead assistant of the organization, this role will partner with the leadership team and their assistants to create and maintain a process-driven, efficient, and inclusive organization. This includes keeping abreast of general business objectives, policies, facilities, and related information to maintain a comprehensive awareness of the business and organization.

The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to design and improve processes, the ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time, as well as the ability to complete complex tasks quickly and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround. The ability to maintain a high level of discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior executives are also critical to this role.

Key job responsibilities

• Heavy, complex calendar management, scheduling meetings with teams in multiple locations

• Coordinate domestic and international travel

• Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all team meetings, offsites, and team social events

• Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow up on outstanding matters

• Work closely with the leadership team, business partners, and other executive assistants to provide support to the organization

• Help develop and maintain new mechanisms within the team

Qualifications

- 8+ years of senior level leadership support experience

- High school or equivalent diploma

- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications

- Experience as an Executive Assistant



Extended Qualifications

- Experience managing teams

- Experience working in a matrixed organization

- Experience with C-level executive calendar management

- Experience with end-to-end project management

- Superior attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines

- Ability to complete complex tasks quickly with little to no guidance and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround

- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

- Demonstrated ability to design and improve processes

- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments at any given time

- High level of integrity and discretion

- Impeccable attention to detail

- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $88,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $176,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
