A day in the life

The producer process starts well before show day. A minimum of six weeks ahead, you're already engaged in the pre-production process: evaluating bookings, holding customer and planning meetings, and maintaining clear communication with the customer and engineers leading up to set and show day.

On non-show days, you're focused on pre-planning: coordinating logistics, aligning with vendors, building run-of-show documents, managing cost estimates, and ensuring every detail is accounted for before your crew arrives onsite.

On show days, you're in the thick of it: supporting set with your crew, managing rehearsals, and driving show execution from start to finish. You're the point of contact for your customer, ensuring everything runs smoothly and adapting on the fly when things change.

After the event wraps, you shift into reporting mode: capturing event data, finalizing vendor costs, and contributing to Weekly Business Review reporting to keep leadership informed and the team aligned.

-Assists and leads customer planning meetings and walk-throughs

-Event script preparation and distribution to production engineers

-Coordinates vendor estimates and labor costs

-Coordinates technical resource scheduling for equipment and labor

-Coordinates any necessary technical testing or technical rehearsals

-Able to support media playback and presentation methods

-Clearly communicates with all team members and stakeholders

-Coordinates personal travel arrangements, schedules, and expenses

Event execution:

-Coordination of technical services for assigned events and relevant facility operations

-Optimizes audio, video, lighting and staging for the best quality attainable

-Supports greater Producer team with occasional show calling and onsite operations

-Dynamically flex to customer needs and adapt to complications

Post-event:

-Supports proper strike of event venue

Assists with post-event reporting

-Assists with any post-event customer needs

-Coordinates any post-event expenditures
