Description

As part of the AWS Applied AI Solutions organization, we have a vision to provide business applications, leveraging Amazon’s unique experience and expertise, that are used by millions of companies worldwide to manage day-to-day operations. We will accomplish this by accelerating our customers’ businesses through delivery of intuitive and differentiated technology solutions that solve enduring business challenges. We blend vision with curiosity and Amazon’s real-world experience to build opinionated, turnkey solutions. Where customers prefer to buy over build, we become their trusted partner with solutions that are no-brainers to buy and easy to use.

Amazon Just Walk Out as a Service (JWOS) delivers solutions to our Retail Customers to simplify and improve the shopping experience. Our enterprise-ready autonomous retail technology enables shoppers to simply enter a store, grab what they want, and just go. Born from years of experience at Amazon Go, Just Walk Out uses a combination of technologies to eliminate checkout lines, bringing fast and convenient checkout experiences to shoppers.

JWOS is seeking an Engagement Manager to educate, evangelize and drive implementation of Just Walk Out technology with retailers globally. In this role you will combine technical expertise with strong project leadership skills to drive successful implementations of Just Walk Out technology. You will bridge business requirements with technical solutions, facilitating technical discussions and ensuring alignment with customer outcomes. Applying JWOS best practices, you will distill customer/partner needs into clear technical requirements, decompose complex problems, and make informed trade-off decisions considering performance, scalability, security, and business impact. Ultimately, you will own the digital integration workstream to launch new Just Walk Out stores

Possessing strong technology and program/project management experience, you will validate technical solutions against business goals, recognize when additional technical evaluation is needed, and manage technical risks. You will be expected to develop retail domain-specific expertise, and effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and business audiences. As you progress, you’ll lead increasingly complex technical projects, shape cross-organizational technical strategies, and establish best practices in your domain. In this role you will apply your management and leadership capabilities to successfully execute project plans, proactively identify and manage risks, resolve issues, escalate when appropriate, and drive projects to successful completion, while exceeding customer expectation

The JWOS organization is a global team of experts that help customers realize their desired business outcomes when using autonomous retail solutions. We work together with customer teams and 3P partner teams to execute enterprise cloud computing initiatives. Our team leverages our collective autonomous retail best practices to help customers achieve specific outcomes related to new store launches. We also deliver focused guidance through our global specialty practices, which cover a variety of solutions, technologies, and industries.

Key job responsibilities

As an experienced technology program/project manager, you will be responsible for:

* Define and track the development plan for new partners, new integration and introduction of new features to a customer

* Define and track the digital integration launch plan for new store launches or migrations

* Define and track the test plan for new integrations and launches

* Support SAs on customer engagements to educate, scope and troubleshoot customer integrations

* Support SAs in resolving Customer support escalations

* Work with Product teams on the tracking plans for VOCs and new feature tech readiness

* Own the improvement of Digital attribute tracking across team and systems

* Perform low-level validation and troubleshooting tasks during store launch or migration (i.e., should be familiar with Libby tags, able to view a session id, configure basic settings in merchant portal)

* Own status reporting of launches and migrations to internal and external stakeholders
