Key job responsibilities
- Perform structural/dynamic tests for subsystem and vehicle levels
- Contribute to spacecraft structural/dynamics test planning, equipment and instrumentation selection, and data acquisition
- Maintain and document test instrumentation, setup, plans, procedures, and reports
- Coordinate across groups to define and verify requirements
- Verify test specifications have been successfully followed
A day in the life
Dynamics test engineers are responsible for spacecraft and component level testing across the entire spacecraft life cycle (concept and configuration development, design, test, validation, qualification, and in-service operations). Our engineers work closely with many other technical disciplines and organizations to integrate solutions to complex engineering problems and have both large impact and high visibility.
About the team
As part of a small, passionate and accomplished team of experts, you will provide technical expertise and solutions to support the development and qualification of for various spaceflight systems.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of working in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience- Experience in dynamic testing of hardware.
- Experience testing to aerospace standards.
- Experience in random vibration testing.
Extended Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in dynamic testing including random vibration, sine, and shock testing.- Knowledge of Highly Accelerated Life Testing (HALT).
- Knowledge of Highly Accelerated Stress Screening (HASS).
- Deep knowledge of aerospace testing standards and techniques

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
