Description

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for entrepreneurial builders with an interest in solving customer problems and driving marketing performance to bar-raising heights. AWS Marketplace enables organizations to optimize how they discover, migrate, procure, and deploy trusted 3rd-party software as they migrate to or build in the cloud. Our Growth Marketing team, a function of Marketplace Marketing, is focused on activating Product-led Growth for AWS Marketplace and for products sold in to drive self-service recurring revenue, upgrades to private offers, and downstream AWS usage. We seek a Digital Marketing Manager who will design, execute, and optimize integrated marketing programs at scale for target buying personas at each stage in the buying journey.

The Digital Marketing Manager must have a proven track of designing and executing integrated digital campaigns to engage, acquire, educate, and retain customers. The ideal candidate is an excellent written and oral communicator with experience translating storytelling into engaging email campaigns and web experiences. They should have experience designing marketing campaigns and executing programs in Marketing Automation Platforms, i.e. Marketo and on CMS and DAM platforms like Adobe Experience Manager. They should also have experience working effectively across the lifecycle marketing ecosystem, including close collaborations with BI/Analytics, Product, Paid Media, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Content teams, as well as external agencies.

Key job responsibilities

* Work with integrated marketing professionals to gather customer insights to design, implement and optimize customers buying journey across all digital touchpoints

* Design and activate campaigns to progress customers across Growth Marketing journey stages. Campaigns span owned, earned, and paid channels (Search, Social, Display, Email, SEO, Content Syndication).

* Develop content strategies for Growth Marketing initiatives, outline copy and creative requirements based on the strategy, and manage external agencies to execute required content needs

* Build and launch email programs (nurtures, newsletters, etc.) in a Marketing Automation Platform - experience with Marketo is preferred

* Create targeting criteria for email campaign segmentations and partner with data scientists on the team to expand targeting capabilities

* Design and update web experiences as key digital touchpoints in the integrated digital journey for customer - work includes web production experience (ie. Adobe AEM) and HTML/CSS knowledge and skills

* Export and synthesize Growth Marketing campaign engagement data (assess against benchmarks and team goals) and create monthly and quarterly reports for stakeholders. Utilize data to optimize ongoing and future campaigns

Qualifications

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion

- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

- 4+ years building email programs and creating segmentations in a Marketing Automation Platform (i.e. Marketo) from scratch



Extended Qualifications

- Experience using customer research, hard data and metrics to back up assumptions, generate forecasts, and assess the efficacy of marketing programs

- Experience utilizing systems and tools involving email, web, analytics, and CRM (Marketo, Tableau, Salesforce, etc.) for targeting, segmentation, reporting for demand generation

- Experience designing content strategies and working with copy writers to develop required campaign content and creative

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $72,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
