We are constantly innovating in the ways we are automating and accelerating the delivery of products and packages which includes building custom hardware and applying robotics, autonomy, supply chain optimization, machine learning, manipulation, image processing, and real-time data processing using distributed systems.The WW Technology Deployment org is seeking a talented and solutions-oriented Deployment Readiness Tech Integration Manager to contribute to delivering transformational innovation to the business. You will spearhead a team with the mission to ensure that robotics technologies maturing through the development pipeline are vetted and tested to identify and resolve issues upstream before deployments at scale. Your team will deliver on deployment strategies that align with FTR deployability tenets.
Key job responsibilities
- Build and develop a team that will oversee strategic Deployment Readiness projects with significant technical depth and breadth;
- Guide the team to drive initiatives, including P0 metrics development and tracking, Design for Deployment (DfD) feature prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration with Product and Engineering teams;
- Lead the team to optimize installation processes, validate technical content, and integrate new technology-specific solutions into deployment playbook;
- Hire and develop the right talent to dive deep on recurring deployability problems to ensure that Deployment Readiness efforts are focused on addressing the highest impact areas;
- Recommend best options to management based on quantified benefits, costs, and operational impacts, then lead project implementation;
- Develop mechanisms for the team to collaborate with stakeholders, decision makers, peers, and customers (internal and external) to implement workstreams that inform and enable deployment readiness at scale.

Qualifications
- Experience in people management- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Operations Research, or a related field
- 10-15 years relevant experience, at least two in technical or team leadership roles;
- Ability to absorb complex information efficiently and quickly, and explain complex ideas relatively simply to non-experts in a way they can understand;
- Industrial experience working with cross functional teams and to develop solutions that are deployable at scale;
- Capable of multi-tasking, taking into account priorities, schedule commitments to customers, and resource constraints across stakeholder teams;
- Excellent business communication skills.
Extended Qualifications
- 3-4 years of experience developing and deploying new technology solutions in both Greenfield and Retrofit environments;- Proven deployment related innovation and process improvement track record resulting in significant business upside;
- Experience with Testing or Validation processes and procedures, including end-to-end system integration;
- Development of scalable deployment models and translating the models into execution plans;
- Recognized for developing technical talent, through recruiting, mentoring, both internal and external to your team.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $147,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $254,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
