Description
Amazon Transportation collectively represents some of the most critical components of Amazon’s first-class transportation network. This organization oversees all global middle and last mile products, spanning B2B and B2C, critical partners, enterprise and SMB customers across numerous teams. This includes—but is not limited to—Amazon Freight, Amazon Relay, Amazon Freight Partners, Amazon Shipping, Amazon Flex, Amazon Hub, Amazon Hub Delivery, Amazon Pickup and Return Points, and delivery service partner. Everything we do is aimed at further delighting our customers, partners and employees with faster, cheaper, and more efficient means of shipping and receiving packages.Creative Garage (CG) is the central creative team supporting the portfolio of global transportation products. The team focuses on building brand awareness, recognition, acquisition and engagement with global transportation brands through the human stories behind logistics. The team builds and owns the global brands and the creative expression of these brands throughout the customer journey. We work closely with global marketing and customer insights partners to test and learn creative, ensuring our design solutions resonate with the target audience. We have high standards and strive to continuously raise the bar across all creative elements.
The Creative Program Manager will oversee the execution and day-to-day processes of creative projects supporting high profile, high impact business initiatives. They will be responsible for building effective partnerships with our creative team, manage creative development, production, and drive cross functional team alignment across multiple business partners and external agencies. They demonstrate the highest level of ownership and bias for action, strong strategic thinking and problem solving, and maintain clear and concise communication across all levels of leadership. They are solutions focused, and able to create or improve upon existing structure and mechanisms to increase efficiency and frugality.
Key job responsibilities
Creative development & management:
* Drive end-to-end creative development (concept to production) across print, digital, email, social, in-store signage, video, OOH, events, and sales collateral
* Lead project alignment meetings and creative reviews with senior leaders and stakeholders
* Manage external vendors/agencies, including RFPs, contracts, on-boarding, and ongoing coordination
* Remove roadblocks to production.
Process & operations:
* Drive end-to-end creative process across all mechanisms, ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget.
* Develop, manage and uphold project timelines
* Manage business-specific traffic, triage and assess creative requests, identifying owners and next steps
* Manage budgets, including PO creation and financial tracking
* Anticipate bottlenecks, remove production roadblocks and provide escalation management
* Balance business needs with technical constraints
* Coordinate across global teams for creative asset localization.
* Promote a sense of transparency, visibility, and community among our team.
* Support business operations and people operations related needs as required.

Qualifications
* 5+ years experience as a Creative Program Manager, Project Manager, or a related role* 2+ years experience managing creative and brand development process
Extended Qualifications
* Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and bias for action* High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously with minimal supervision
* Experience managing creative projects across multiple channels (digital, social, OOH, video, print, signage)
* Track record in creative agency or in-house creative team
* Proven experience with global/geographically diverse teams
* Strong background in vendor management and contract negotiations
* Expertise in print production processes and press check management
* Proficiency with creative process and project management platforms
* Exceptional problem-solving skills with proven ability to identify and resolve issues proactively
* Excellent communication and organizational abilities
* Demonstrated success in fast-paced, dynamic environments with competing priorities
* B2B, transportation and/or logistics design experience a plus, but not required

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $159,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
